Winterberry Holly
Berry Poppins®
Ilex verticillata
The winterberry holly is perfect for winter landscapes. This holly loses its leaves in the fall, but makes up for it with an abundance of bright red berries in winter. It has a dwarf habit. Maintains shape with little or no pruning. It prefers moist, acidic soils. Needs a male pollinator within 50' to ensure pollination; one male will pollinate up to 7 females. Mr.Poppins is recommended as the male pollinator.
