The Royal Purple has large, pink smoke-like airy seed clusters that change from grayish to pink form June into August with maroon to purplish red foliage that really makes it stand out. It does well as a hedge, mass planting or by itself. Likes well-drained soil and does not tolerate soil that is poorly drained and soggy.
