Coneflower
Purple Emperor
Echinacea
The Purple Emperor grows large, fragrant, purple blooms on sturdy, well-branched stems that are held in perfect proportion to the clump of deep green foliage. The tips of the petals change to a bit lighter pink pink as the flower ages. They bloom from early to late summer. Coneflowers are perfect for border plants, mass plantings, in containers, or in cut flower bouquets. They are drought tolerant and easy to grow.
