Japanese Maple
Bloodgood
The Bloodgood has fine textured foliage with burgundy red coloring that turns brilliant red in the fall and a light airy appearance. Widely used, well known and reliable bloodgood is the standard for comparison among the purple leafed. The red-black bark provides striking interest in winter. One of the hardiest of Japanese maples, with good sun tolerance.
