Product Description

Fireglow Japanese Maple Tree (Acer palmatum ‘Fireglow’)

Fireglow Japanese Maple Tree is famous for its bright red foliage. When backlit by the sun, this foliage appears translucent. Fireglow potentially has the best summer color retention of all the upright Maples. In the spring delicate, lobed bright red leaves emerge. This shifts to a burgundy-red in the summer heat and matures to a vivid scarlet-red in autumn. Fireglow has an upright growth habit with an elegant airy vase shape. Plant Fireglow for that bold red color!

Japanese Maple Trees

Japanese Maple Trees are slow-growing ornamental trees. They are prized for their lovely seasonal colors. They prefer partial shade to protect them from the hot afternoon sun, as too much sun can scorch their leaves. Japanese Maples love well-drained and slightly acidic soil. Prune in mid winter while the tree is dormant, to prevent excessive sap loss. Japanese Maples make stunning focal points in landscapes.

About Trees from Nolt’s Garden Center

We specialize in top quality trees for sale at our plant nursery in Lebanon PA. Our tree nursery has a huge selection of ornamental, flowering, & shade trees. Most of our trees are grown in potting soil which makes them lighter and easier to plant than trees that are grown in a field and dug. Our trees also start growing faster since their roots are not damaged by the digging.
