It has an overall pink effect, beautiful in any landscape. In the autumn these leaves turn a copper bronze. Tricolor Beech has smooth, thin, silver-gray bark. It features a low-branched, slow-growing ornamental tree.
Beech Trees are majestic, slow-growing trees. They thrive in partial shade, as direct, hot afternoon sun can scorch their delicate leaves. They prefer rich, slightly acidic, well-drained soil and do not tolerate clay soils.
