Product Description

Swamp White Oak Tree (Quercus bicolor)

Swamp White Oak Tree is celebrated for its versatility, longevity, and its two-toned foliage. Its glossy, dark green leaves have a silvery-white, fuzzy underside creating a shimmering effect in the wind. In the fall these leaves turn brilliant shades of yellow, orange, or reddish-brown. Unlike other oaks, Swamp White Oak produces acorns on unusually long, thick stalks. These acorns provide a vital source of food for birds. This tall tree also provides dense shade. True to its name, Swamp White Oak, thrives in wet, poorly drained soil.
