October Glory

October Glory Maple Tree (Acer rubrum ‘October Glory’)

October Glory Maple gets its name honestly. In late October, it provides a dazzling show from long-lasting crimson, to orange, or even scarlet red. It is one of the last of the maples to color, but October Glory holds its color long after other maples have lost their leaves. It has a rounded shape, providing shade all season. It is noted for tolerating summer heat better than other maples. October Glory is also adaptable to poor soil, tolerating even wet, swampy areas.

Red Maple Trees

Red Maple is a fast-growing, beautiful maple tree native to Eastern US. It thrives in full or partial sun and moist, slightly acidic soil. Red Maple is easy-to-grow and a long lived tree. Our newer varieties have a very symmetrical structure and excellent fall color. Red Maple, true to its name, has red winter buds, red spring flowers, and reddish leaf stalks in the summer.
