Heritage River Birch Tree (Betula nigra)

Heritage River Birch Tree is a popular fast-growing shade tree, native to eastern and central United States. It is tough and heat tolerant. It is also highly resistant to the Bronze birch Borer. Heritage has glossy deep green foliage all summer. In the autumn this foliage turns a buttery yellow. Throughout the winter its bark peels, revealing layers of salmon, cream, and tan. As the tree matures, this exfoliating bark becomes more prominent. Plant Heritage in the wet or dry and enjoy dense shade all summer!
