Red Wings Creeping Phlox has pink crimson flowers with a dark red eye. These flowers cover the dark green foliage mid spring. Red Wing’s blanket of flowers makes a tremendous impact of color which can be seen from quite a distance! Red Wing also appreciates full, hot sun all day to better its appearance.
Creeping Phlox (subulata), also called Moss Pinks, are a very low-growing perennial with needle-like foliage. Growing no taller than 6″, they spread out into a carpet-like mat. Phlox look best on slopes, draped over rock walls, or in mass plantings.
Most of the perennial plants we have for sale are grown right here in Lebanon PA. We grow our perennials in an x-large 1 gallon container so that they are easy for you to start. Adjacent to our retail plant nursery, we have several acres of nursery greenhouses that are for growing top quality plants.
