Ocean Sunset Orange Vibe has the largest flowers of any Ice Plant. It also has a very high flower count per plant, which means that its foliage is hardly seen because its totally covered with showy, orange flowers. These flowers close at night and open mid morning. Ocean Sunset Orange Vibe has succulent-like foliage which is hardy in full sun and loves well-drained soil.
Ice Plant (Delosperma) is known for its extreme drought-tolerance and love of full sun. The succulent-like foliage of Ice Plant spreads very quickly forming a mat of vivid color. From April through June flowers cover this perennial with intense colors. Ice Plant looks best planted in rock gardens, in mass plantings, or along borders.
