Midnight Masquerade Penstemon produces a sturdy clump of burgundy purple leaves. If you plant Midnight Masquerade in full sun its foliage will be darker in color. In the summer lavender-purple flowers with white interiors appear on tall dark stems. Hummingbirds feast on the nectar from Midnight Masquerade’s flowers.
Penstemon (Beardtongue) are drought and humidity tolerant perennials. They are very easy-to-grow and are rarely bothered by insects or diseases. Plant Penstemon in full sun and watch them thrive. Hummingbirds love Penstemon’s bell-like flowers.
