April Night Salvia is stunning with its sturdy stems that hold a load of rich purple blue flowers. It has exceptional flower power from May-July. If you shear its spent flowers, April Night will consistently rebloom all summer. Butterflies love this plant! Since it doesn’t grow extremely tall, it is excellent for tucking into spaces in your garden.
Salvia forms a uniform rounded clump of fragrant green foliage all summer. It thrives in more sun, but will ask for a drink now and then. In response Salvia will produce masses of colorful flower spikes from spring into midsummer attracting hummingbirds and butterflies to your garden.
