Bobo® Hydrangea is an award winning, compact, low-maintenance variety. In mid-summer large, white clustered flowers are held uprightly on sturdy stems. Even when these lacy flowers cover almost every inch of this petite bush, Bobo® Hydrangea does not flop open. Its flowers age from white to shades of pink in the fall. Bobo® flowers are excellent for fresh or dried flower arrangements.
Hydrangeas (paniculata) are known for blooming on new wood every year which makes them reliable bloomers. They are also extremely hardy and cold tolerant, making them an excellent choice for gardens. Hydrangeas prefer a full to part sun. Adaptable to many soils, moderate moisture is required. Hydrangeas look best planted along borders, mass plantings, or in containers. Prune the whole plant back by about one-third its total height each spring, just as the new growth begins to emerge on stems.
