Ultraviolet Tall Phlox has large dark magenta flowers. Its flower show is held mid through late summer when it proudly holds high these magenta violet flowers above its bright green foliage. Ultraviolet is selected especially for its improved resistance over downy mildew compared to older varieties. It even grows well in the hot, humid summers.
Tall Phlox (paniculata) are a favorite of North America native gardeners. Little work is required to watch the large, vivid colors of Phlox come alive. They love full sun for best flowering performance. Phlox are a favorite of hummingbirds, butterflies, and other pollinators.
