Cherry Vanilla Dianthus has carnation-like flowers. 1½” wide, burgundy flowers have a sharply contrasting, white edge that makes the color pop. The sweetly scented flowers of Cherry Vanilla appear proportionately above the narrow, blue-green foliage. These semi to fully double flowers are heat and humidity tolerant.
Dianthus (Pinks) are the perfect compact size to make a border along your garden. Fragrant flowers appear in early summer, and a quick shearing after flowering will help them to rebloom in early fall. The foliage of Dianthus have a clean, blue look that withstands the summer heat and humidity. They grow best in well-drained soil.
