Product Description

Tamukeyama Weeping Japanese Maple Tree (Acer palmatum var. dissectum ‘Tamukeyama’)

Tamukeyama Weeping Japanese Maple Tree is a mounding, cascading, ornamental Maple. It is a moderate-growing, dwarf version of the upright Maples. Its highly dissected, lace-like foliage emerges in burgundy in the spring. It holds its red color through the summer heat better than most other cultivars. It adds some brilliant scarlet for the autumn. Being wider than tall, Tamukeyama looks awesome by a patio or beside a waterfall.

Weeping Japanese Maple Trees

Weeping Japanese Maple Trees are slow-growing ornamental trees. They are prized for their lovely seasonal colors. They prefer partial shade to protect them from the hot afternoon sun, as too much sun can scorch their leaves. Japanese Maples love well-drained and slightly acidic soil. Prune in mid winter while the tree is dormant, to prevent excessive sap loss. Weeping Japanese Maples with their cascading mound make stunning focal points in landscapes.

About Trees from Nolt’s Garden Center

We specialize in top quality trees for sale at our plant nursery in Lebanon PA. Our tree nursery has a huge selection of ornamental, flowering, & shade trees. Most of our trees are grown in potting soil which makes them lighter and easier to plant than trees that are grown in a field and dug. Our trees also start growing faster since their roots are not damaged by the digging.
