Product Description

Crimson Queen Weeping Japanese Maple Tree (Acer palmatum var. dissectum ‘Crimson Queen’)

Crimson Queen Weeping Japanese Maple Tree is a mounding, cascading, ornamental Maple. It is a slow-growing, dwarf version of the upright Maples. Its delicate, lace-like foliage emerges bright crimson in the spring, deepens to burgundy in the summer, and finishes with brilliant scarlet in the fall. Being wider than tall, Crimson Queen looks much like a mushroom. It is ideal for small garden spaces.

Weeping Japanese Maple Trees

Weeping Japanese Maple Trees are slow-growing ornamental trees. They are prized for their lovely seasonal colors. They prefer partial shade to protect them from the hot afternoon sun, as too much sun can scorch their leaves. Japanese Maples love well-drained and slightly acidic soil. Prune in mid winter while the tree is dormant, to prevent excessive sap loss. Weeping Japanese Maples with their cascading mound make stunning focal points in landscapes.

About Trees from Nolt’s Garden Center

We specialize in top quality trees for sale at our plant nursery in Lebanon PA. Our tree nursery has a huge selection of ornamental, flowering, & shade trees. Most of our trees are grown in potting soil which makes them lighter and easier to plant than trees that are grown in a field and dug. Our trees also start growing faster since their roots are not damaged by the digging.
