Canadian Hemlock

Canadian Hemlock, also called Eastern Hemlock, is known for having a very long lifespan. It is a shade-tolerant evergreen conifer, native to eastern North America. It is used in landscapes as a specimen tree or a dense privacy hedge. It typically grows 40 feet tall. Canadian Hemlock is distinguished by its graceful, feathery appearance and drooping branches which cover all the way to the ground. 

Hemlock Tree

Hemlock (Tsuga canadensis) are low-maintenance and easy-to-grow. They are dense, so generally do not need pruning. Their needle-like foliage makes them look stately planted in landscapes or as a privacy screen. These shrubs thrive in full sun or partial sun. They love moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Hemlock boast of their graceful, feathery texture.
