Pachysandra is a evergreen perennial that is a tough plant that can thrive in various conditions. Its foliage doesn't die back in winter, making it an excellent choice for year-round color in your yard. Japanese Pachysandra is also drought-tolerant, shade-tolerant, and can grow in heavy clay soils. Another advantage of this foliage plant is that it serves as an effective groundcover for weed control. It spreads to form a dense mat, inhibiting weed growth and reducing the maintenance required for your lawn. Pachysandra is best grown in partial to full shade, and it can adapt to any type of soil. With adequate watering, this plant can establish itself and become a valuable addition to your landscape. Add some toughness to your yard with Pachysandra. We carry these in small plugs (about 2" wide). Plant them 1 per square foot for a complete cover.
