Timeless Night Coral Bells is noted for its midnight-black foliage. Its almost black leaves are slightly ruffled which adds texture to the garden. We find Timeless Night to have more vibrant color compared to older varieties like ‘Plum Pudding’ or ‘Palace purple’. Timeless Night also has a compact, tidy shape. Its dark foliage is topped with contrasting pink flower spikes in early summer. The flower spikes can be used as a cut flower for your table. Timeless Night is very vigorous and hardy.
Coral Bells (Heuchera) get their name from the delicate stems of coral-pink bell-shaped flowers. However, today’s varieties are much more noted for outstanding foliage colors rather than their flowers. Most varieties of Coral Bells are semi-evergreen and often maintain some interesting foliage over Winter. They thrive in filtered sun.
