Roseum Elegans

Roseum Elegans Rhododendron is prized for its large showy trusses of rose-lilac colored flowers. These flowers appear in mid spring contrasting well with the dense, dark green foliage. Roseum Elegans is dependable, very hardy, and grows vigorously. It takes very little to no pruning, except removing its finished flowers if you so desire. It will grow anywhere, but prefers shady areas with acidic, well-drained soil. It is good to fertilize Roseum Elegans with Holly-tone in the spring to give it a boost.

Rhododendron Shrub

Rhododendron are popular for their ability to grow in deep shade. They are also known for their huge, vibrant flowers! Rhododendron thrive in acidic, well-drained soil. They are extremely easy to grow and low-maintenance. Although usually not needing pruning, you can prune these bushes immediately after spring flowering. Rhododendron look best planted along a border, as a stand-alone specimen, or in a privacy hedge.
