Mr. Poppins®

Mr. Poppins® Holly is the male pollinator for other Holly bushes. Plant female Holly bushes within 50′ of the male to ensure good pollination. Mr. Poppins®is a compact Holly which will not produce berries. It loses its leaves in the fall. It maintains its shape with little pruning to keep it looking fresh all year. It prefers moist, well-drained, and slightly acidic soil. Mr. Poppins® is essential for female Holly bushes to produce berries!

Winterberry Holly Bush

Holly (Ilex) bushes are very common, hardy and easy-to-grow. They are not evergreens, but give you beauty all season anyway! Holly bushes have glossy leaves and give berries, provided that a male pollinator is nearby. One male can pollinate up to 7 females. Holly Bushes will likely need pruned in the spring to maintain their shape. These shrubs thrive in full sun or partial sun areas. They prefer well-drained, slightly acidic soil and do not like heavy soil. Holly bushes can be used for low hedges or as an accent in a large garden area.
