Endless Summer® The Original® Hydrangea boasts loads of huge, incredibly blue flowers all summer long. Its 6″-10″ mophead blooms truly put on a spectacular show! The color of flower is dependent on the soil pH. To keep The Original® this blue color, you may need to feed it. This hardy, cold tolerant bush is a good choice for a container or as a specimen in your garden. The Original® flowers are excellent for fresh or dried flower arrangements.
Hydrangeas (macrophylla) are cherished for their large, mophead flowers. They bloom on both old wood and new wood every year. This trait provides more continuous color from spring through fall. Hydrangea (macrophylla) have a unique ability to change color. Blue flowers require acidic soil and pink flowers require neutral soil. So you can apply aluminum sulfate to encourage blue flowers or garden lime if you want pink flowers. Preferring partial sun, Hydrangeas (macrophylla) are adaptable to many soils with moderate moisture. Hydrangeas look best planted in containers, along borders, or as a specimen in your garden.
