Empress Wu Hosta is the World’s Largest Hosta! Its huge dark green deeply veined leaves can measure more than 1½’ wide and long. These upright leaves form a very tall and wide clump. It takes this clump about 5 years growing in the ground to achieve its mature size. In midsummer, pale reddish-violet flowers bloom just above the foliage. Empress Wu is an outstanding plant to have in your shade garden!
