Electric Avenue Coreopsis is a perennial with vibrant daisy-like yellow flower. Its flowers are a brighter yellow color compared to ‘Moonbeam’ or ‘Creme Brulee’. These flowers start in early Summer and just keep on coming all the way till Fall. We find Electric Avenue to bloom much longer than older varieties like ‘Zagreb’. The fine threadlike foliage brings a taste of ‘the finer things in life’ to your garden! Hardy & drought tolerant, Electric Avenue thrives in sandy, rocky, and well-drained soil.
Threadleaf Coreopsis (Tickseed) are a good choice for beginners because they are so easy to grow. They enjoy the sunny areas in your garden. Coreopsis look excellent in rock gardens or containers. If you choose to cut them, they are a long-lasting cut flower.
