Dense Spreading

Dense Spreading Yew is a common Yew bush. It is adorned with long, glossy green, needle-like foliage. It is easy-to-grow, versatile, and hardy. It loves partial shade, but tolerates full shade or full sun. Dense Spreading Yew prefers moist, well-drained, and slightly acidic soil. It is ideal for woodsy areas or privacy hedges. If you keep it sheared, you can shape it to look similar to a boxwood. Dense Spreading Yew is toxic to animals and humans! 

Yew Bush

Yew (Taxus) are known for being extremely long-lived and versatile shrubs. They are low-maintenance, but usually need sheared in the spring to maintain their shape. Their dense needle-like foliage makes a perfect privacy screen. Yew are adaptable to different soil types, but prefer well-drained, slightly acidic soil. These shrubs thrive in full sun or part sun. Warning: The foliage and seeds of Yew are toxic to animals and humans if ingested.
