Dappled Willow

Hakuro Nishiki Dappled Willow is popular for its tri-colored foliage. Its new growth appears pink fading to a creamy white and soft green. This fast-growing bush needs regular shearing in early spring and summer for maintaining this tri-color foliage. After its leaves fall off, Hakuro Nishiki has reddish stems providing color during the winter months. It loves full or part sun and thrives in wet locations, but is adaptable to other soils. Hakuro Nishiki looks especially best planted along edges of ponds and streams! 

Dappled Willow Shrub

Dappled Willow (Salix) are known to be fast-growing, colorful shrubs. They are also popular for their tri-color foliage in summer and red stems in winter. Dappled Willow need pruning from time to time to keep their tri-color foliage looking its best. They thrive in full or part sun. They do not mind standing in water for a time and actually enjoy wet conditions! Versatile and hardy, Dappled Willow are easy-to-grow.
