Chocolate Brown Mulch

Chocolate Brown Dyed Mulch is a beautiful, dark brown mulch with long-lasting color. It offers good weed control and moisture retention. Chocolate Brown Mulch is a uniformly-ground mulch. This give mulched beds a neat, finished look and makes the mulch easy to spread. Chocolate Brown Mulch is excellent for mulching around trees and shrubs.

Wood Mulches

Wood Mulches do not break down as fast as Bark Mulches. So if you want to freshen up the beds with a light layer of mulch or if you mulch every other year, you will like a wood mulch. Wood mulches put down thickly each year will tend to “stack-up” on your beds. So, if you like to mulch thickly to keep down the weeds, we recommend you try our bark mulches. Wood mulches can tend to absorb nutrients, so we do not recommend them around flowers.

The dye on wood mulches is wet. The color can wash off in rain if the mulch has not had time to dry in the landscape. We recommend allowing 24 hours drying time before a rain.
