Charlene Strawn

Charlene Strawn Water Lily is a popular, hardy Water Lily. It features star-shaped, lemon-yellow blooms. They stand up a few inches above the water and flower all summer long as a day-bloomer. These flowers have a sweet, pleasant fragrance. In early spring when Charlene Strawn is young it produces rounded, bright green lily pads with chocolate-brown spots. This mottling gradually matures into solid green. Charlene Strawn Water Lily performs best when planted in an aquatic container submerged 12- 24″ below the surface. Its foliage will then grow up to the surface of the water.
