Product Description

Chandler Strawberry

Chandler Strawberry is a June-bearing strawberry, meaning it produces one large crop usually around the end of May or the beginning of June. It is known for its large, glossy, intensely sweet berries. Besides its excellent flavor, Chandler is also known for its firm berries. Its berries have a conical, uniform shape. Chandler is an excellent berry for jams and freezing. Being self-pollinating, one plant is all you need.

Strawberry Plants

June-bearing Strawberry Plants produce one massive harvest in a 2 week span in late spring or early summer. Because of this harvest all at one time, it makes them well suited for canning and freezing. June-bearing Strawberries generally produce larger, juicier berries than Everbearing Strawberries. They send out a lot of runners which should be thinned. This will help the plant to keep producing large fruit. It will also prevent the plant from becoming too crowded. June-bearing Strawberries love full sun and well-drained, slightly acidic soil.
