Carolina Sweetheart® Redbud Tree produces small, lavender-pink blooms in the spring. Its stunning, heart-shaped leaves emerge purple-red, transitioning to hot pink, and then adding some green and white variegation. In late summer this foliage becomes more dark green with white margins and changes to a modest yellow in the fall. This fast-growing tree can reach 15 feet tall within 10 years. Carolina Sweetheart® is great as a specimen in your yard and looks awesome at the edge of woodlands.
