Double Play® Candy Corn®

Double Play® Candy Corn® Spirea has crazy colorful foliage. It emerges apple-red in the spring and transitions to pineapple yellow in the summer. The crazy part? Its new growth continues to emerge orange-red throughout summer and fall, creating spectacular color! It is super easy-to-grow and durable in the summer heat. This compact, low-maintenance shrub has clusters of dark purple flowers that appear in the spring! Candy Corn® flowers have a long vase life, so add them to your fresh cut arrangements! 

Spirea Bush

Spirea (spiraea) Double Play® Series are known for vibrant foliage and continuous flowering all summer. These shrubs maintain a nice, neat, compact shape without pruning, although you can take the old flower heads off if desired. We recommend fertilizing with Plant-tone in the spring. Spirea prefer full sun to partial sun and well-drained soil. They are extremely hardy and cold tolerant, making them an excellent go-to for gardens. Spirea look best planted along borders, as a specimen in your garden, or in a container.
