Product Description

Santa Rosa Plum Tree (Prunus Salicina)

Santa Rosa Plum Tree is known for its disease resistance and a high yield of reddish-purple fruit. These fruits should be picked just before they are totally soft, and left to ripen in a cool place. Santa Rosa Plum is self-pollinating, but planting another variety of plum nearby maximizes your harvest.

Plum Tree

Plum Trees are known for their sweet, juicy, purple fruit. In the spring Plum Trees produce white and pink flowers. Some trees are self-fertile, but many require a partner for fruit production. Plant another variety of Plum Tree within 40 feet for pollination. They should be pruned annually in late winter or very early spring. Plum Trees prefer well-drained soil and full sun areas.

About Trees from Nolt’s Garden Center

We specialize in top quality trees for sale at our plant nursery in Lebanon PA. Our tree nursery has a huge selection of ornamental, flowering, & shade trees. Most of our trees are grown in potting soil which makes them lighter and easier to plant than trees that are grown in a field and dug. Our trees also start growing faster since their roots are not damaged by the digging.
