Big and beautiful, the Shenandoah 3-5″ Decorative River Stone is our largest multi-colored river stone. Its hues of dark grey, burgundy, and tan blend well with almost any landscape project. Its larger size makes it great for edging beds or for areas where small stone washes away. Also great for making fish ponds and waterfalls.
We recommend a landscape fabric beneath decorative stone for 2 reasons: First, it helps keep the weeds down. Second, it also prevents the stone from working down into the dirt in high traffic areas.
Decorative River Stone is a great alternative to mulching. It does not disintegrate like mulch. It also does not blow around in the wind or wash away as easily in the rain as mulch does. Replace your mulch with a decorative river stone and never have to mess with it again!
