The Allegheny 1-3″ Decorative River Stone is a medium-large size, multi-colored river stone that is perfect for landscape projects. Its hues of grey, tan, and burgundy blend well with almost any landscape. Its medium-large size and rounded edges make this a customer favorite! This medium-large size of Allegheny River Stone does not washout as easily as smaller sizes. Also great for making fish ponds and waterfalls.
We recommend a landscape fabric beneath decorative stone for 2 reasons: First, it helps keep the weeds down. Second, it also prevents the stone from working down into the dirt in high traffic areas.
