Red Velvet Bee Balm produces large, bright red flowers all Summer. Part of the Upscale genetics, Red Velvet is highly resistant to powdery mildew. It is also noted for strong reblooming all Summer. In the Fall trim it back to 2″ tall.
Bee Balm (Monarda) is a perennial plant that is native to eastern North America. The flower’s sweet nectar attracts hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees. The foliage of Bee Balm has a minty scent.
