Concord Grape is one of the most popular blue grapes. It is a standard for traditional American grape juices, jellies, and jams. It produces highly aromatic, sweet, dark-blue to purple grapes from mid-September into early fall. Concord Grape is a vigorous cold-hardy climbing vine. It is self-pollinating, meaning you only need to plant one vine to get fruit. It need full sun to maximize sugar development and to prevent fungal diseases. Prune Concord Grape heavily in the late winter.
Grape Vines are woody climbers that require structural support such as a trellis, arbor, or fence. They need full sun for proper sugar development in the fruit.
