Rejoyce Leucothoe

Rejoyce Leucothoe thrives in woodland areas and has year round interest! In the spring, small, white flowers form in drooping clusters on top of the glossy, dark green foliage. These bell-shaped flowers are lightly fragrant. The new foliage of Rejoyce emerges striking bright red! This foliage later matures to a wine-red or burgundy color, giving it attraction even in the fall and winter. It is low-maintenance, but if you want to prune it, do so after the spring flowers are finished. It loves partial to full shade and acidic soil. Plant red-tipped Rejoyce to give character to your woodland garden!

Leucothoe Shrub

Leucothoe are prized for their ability to grow in shady areas. They also are known for their vibrant new foliage and bell-shaped flowers. These shrubs rarely need pruning, but the best time for pruning is after their spring flowers are finished. Leucothoe thrive in partial shade or even full shade, as too much sun will scorch their leaves. They prefer moist, well-drained, and slightly acidic soil. Leucothoe add charm to shaded borders or woodsy areas!
