Product Description

Mountain Fire Japonica

Mountain Fire Japonica has clusters of white bell-shaped, cascading flowers in the spring. These fragrant flowers resemble Lilies-of-the-valley. Its new foliage emerges bright-red and matures to rich green. You get glimpses of this red foliage all season as this evergreen grows. Mountain Fire maintains its shape with little or no pruning, but if pruning do so after the spring flowers are finished. It loves partial shade to full shade and acidic soil. Mountain Fire looks excellent planted as a centerpiece in your shade garden!

Japanese Andromeda Shrub

Japanese Andromeda (Pieris Japonica), also called Japonica, are prized for their ability to grow in shady areas. They also are known for their vibrant new foliage and bell-shaped flowers. These shrubs rarely need pruning, but the best time for pruning is after their spring flowers are finished. Japonica thrive in partial shade, where they can hide from the afternoon sun. They prefer moist, nutrient rich, and slightly acidic soil. Plant them as an accent in a large garden area. Japonica are toxic to humans and pets, so be sure to plant them in a safe spot.
